Jan'y 31st 1910 Cary Club met with Mrs McKean, and sixteen members answered to their names as they were called, also responded with a Bible quotation etc Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved Mrs Brown read a letter from Mrs Laura Bailey, who is spending the winter in Washington Mrs Beatty interested the Club very much with a paper on "[Musicians?]" Mrs Mentzer gave a recitation, followed by Mrs Ives with the topic "Family Court Work" We had for guests Mrs D [Town?], and Mrs Clogston. Current events were discussed, after which Mrs Ives read a sorrowful letter from Mrs Parmenter of Caliente Nevada, telling of the great flood and of the narrow escape of herself and family, from drowning Adjourned to meet with Mrs Brown Feby 14th Mrs Cross Secy Mrs Pyle President
