Marion Iowa April 25 President to the presided programme the Cary Club met on 5th Avenue with Mrs Phelps-- sixteen members being present Members of the meeting of April 11th read and approved Mrs McKean read a paper on the "Flora of Iowa" which proved to be very interesting to everyone present Mrs T R Alexander gave a pleasing recitation Mrs Sargent read a magazine article entitle the "Taft Social Season", which all enjoyed hearing Mrs Phelps conducted a "spelling contest" that was very much enjoyed by all. The topic "current events" was omitted At 4.30 the club adjourned to meet May 9th with Mrs Bailey Mrs C E Cross Secy Mrs Pyle President
