Marian Ia Oct rd 1910 The Cary Club held its first meeting at the home of Mrs E W Griffiths, in place of Mrs J J Ives on account of stormy weather. Fifteen members present answered roll call by vacation reminiscences. Minutes of June 30th was read and approved. Secy made a very good report for the year. Treas reported a balance of $.98 in treasury Short speeches were made by retiring and incoming Presidents. Mrs Ives gave the first lesson in English History. "The Coming of the Saxons" which was very interesting to all. Mrs Alderman acted as critic Current events were then given Club adjourned to meet Mrs Rathbun Oct 17th Susie Brown Secy
