Marion Iowa April 15 Club met with Mrs. McKean thirteen members and two visitors present. Pres. called club to order. Quotations from Isaac Watts were given in response to roll call. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved. Mrs. Rathbun had the History Lesson - Subject the Roman Emperialism 31 B.C to A.D 180. Mrs. Beatty read a very interesting magazine article subject being our selves and their [?] [?] Current events were then given Dainty refreshments were served by the Hostess which all enjoyed very much. Adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs. Gibson. Gertrude Alderman Sec.
