Marion Iowa Jan 8th 1913 The postponed meeting of the Cary Club was held at the home of Mrs. Alexander Wednesday afternoon at two thirty the president presiding. Nine members responded to roll call with New Years quotations. Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. Mrs. Griffiths article on Travelling Public Libraries was very interesting. Mrs. Ives being unable to be present her paper was postponed. Letters were then read from Mrs. Hutchinson and Parmenter which were thoroughly enjoyed. After which current events were given. The program being finished club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs. Mentzer. During social hour hostess served refreshments. Mrs. McKean Secretary Presiden Mrs. Blinks Marion Iowa Jan 20 - 1913 Cary Club met at the home of Mrs. Mentzer Monday afternoon at half after two. The vice president Mrs. Susie Brown presiding owing to the inclemency of the weather but seven members responded to roll call with Epitaphs. Minutes of previous meeting were read and accepted. Mrs. Waffle gave a report of the City Federation after which Mrs. Shumack took charge of the lesson for the afternoon The Library Profession also children's libraries. Mrs. Winter being absent her paper was omitted. Current events were
