237 Marion, Iowa Feb. 23- 1914 Cary Club met with the President, Mrs Ives, Eleven members responded to Roll Call with quotations. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Mrs Bailey gave a very convincing article on Temperance & its Progress. Mrs Ives a very interesting one on the "White-Slave Traffic", Current Events followed and Mrs Bailey suggested securing the addresses of our Honorary Members. Club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs Brown. Mrs Ives. Pres. Mrs Brown Sec. Pro Tem. Marion, Io. Mar. 9 - 1914. Cary Club met with Mrs Ives on account of the illness of Mrs. Brown. Meeting called to order by the President. Mrs McKean was appointed Sec. Pro. Tem. Twelve members responded to Roll Call with miscellaneous quotations. Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. Mormonism was the Study Subject for the afternoon. History & Sacred Books of Mormonism was given by Mrs Cross, and Aims & Organization of Mormon Church by Mrs Pyle, were bot most interesting. Mrs Bailey gave a very fine talk on her visit to Salt Lake City. Current Events were then given. Club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs Shumack. Mrs Ives Pres. Mrs M.C. McKean Sec. Pro. Tem.
