239 Marion, Io. Apr. 20- 1914. Cary Club met with Mrs Cook. Thirteen members present. Minutes of the last meeting read and approved. Program was carried out as printed, Mrs Bailey reading a description of the Missions of California and Mrs Waffle one of the Petrified Forest of Arizona. After Current Events by those present Club adjourned to meet in two weeks. Mrs Ives Pres. Mrs Waffle Sec. Marion, Iowa May 4- 1914. Cary Club met with Mrs Griffith and twelve members responded to roll call with quotations. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Election of officers for the coming year resulted in the unanimous election of the following ladies. President/ Mrs Shumack Vice Pres. Mrs Alexander Secretary Mrs Bishop Treas. Mrs Griffith Mrs Shumack then read a description of the Mother of Moody. Mrs Alderman one, of the Mother of Geo Washington and of Mother Goose. Mrs Griffith of The Descendants of Geo. Washington and of the Mother of Garfield. Mrs Ives closed the subject with some very appropriate poetical quotations. After Current Events, Club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs Winter.
