253 Marion Iowa. Jan 25. 1915. Cary Club met at the house of Mrs. Alexander. with Mrs. Shumack in the chair. Fourteen members responded to roll call with telling "why we belong to a club," we were next favored with two selections of instrumental music by Mrs. P.E. Granger and Miss Ross of Winona Lake, Ind. which was very much enjoyed by all present. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Mrs. Cook asked to be excused from active you Program committee for the next year. motion made by Mrs. Alexander we substitute Mrs. Griffith for Mrs. Cook. we the program committee, motion carried. Mrs. Mentzer gave a report of the meeting of the city Federation. The lesson study was then taken up per Calander. Mrs. Waffle read an interesting paper on Wills and Estates. and Mrs. Brown read a sketch of the Amana Colony. which was very much enjoyed. After current events the Club adjourned to meet Feb. 8 with Mrs. Davis. Mrs. Shumack Pres. Mrs. Bishop Sec'y.
