April 24" 1916 The Cary club met with Mrs Alexander. Ten members responded to roll call with quotations on "Mothers" - minutes of former meeting read & approved. Report of City Federation given. Mrs Cross carried us back to the "old fashioned mother" with descriptions of her ways of housekeeping & providing for her family, contrasting vividly the inconveniences of those times with our own, Mrs Bailey read a splendid papers in "The Mother of Today" & her requirements, current events followed & a social time & cup of tea was enjoyed. Adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs Pyle. Mrs Bailey Pres - Mrs Alexander Secy.

May 8" The Cary club met at the home of Mrs Pyle, Thirteen members present, miscellaneous quotations were given, "Minutes of April 24" read & accepted. As this was the annual meeting, election of officers was held & resulted in the following members chosen for office. For Pres - Mrs Mentzer, Vice Mrs McKean, Secy Mrs Alderman Treas - Mrs Blinks. Report if Secy given, showing the number of meeting 14, the average attendance 12 & a fraction. Mrs Griffiths had the program & conducted a spelling lesson. Current events given & adj - to meet in two weeks. Mrs Alexander, Secy. Mrs Bailey - Pres -

Cary Club met at the home of Mrs McKean, with eleven members & two guests present. Household helps were given at roll call, Minutes of May 8" read & accepted, Report of Federation meeting, & also program committee given. They reported the expense of the programs to be $6.75 - & as there was a shortage of funds each member was assessed .25¢. The next meeting being the annual tea, the following com - supported Mrs Shumack, Reichart, & Davis. Mrs Reichart gave an article on on the care of fruits & vegetables. Mrs McKean read an article "A young woman to do house work", Mrs Brown finished the
