32 Marion Iowa, June 2 - 1919 Cary Club met with Mrs Elson Six members responded to Roll Call, the weather being bad. Quotations were given and MInutes of last meeting read and approved. Literary program was given first - Mrs Brown had a very interesting subject, "The World Fight for Fertilizer" and Mrs Shumack substituted with - two short articles. "Whale Steak" and "The New Revelation of the Statue of Liberty" Business meeting next in order. Mrs Brown gave a report of the Home Demonstration Meeting of May 28. The Annual Picnic or Club Tea was postponed until June 23 owing to conflicting dates of other meetings. Moved and carried each member write her own program for coming year. Current events were given and club adjourned to meet for picnic. Mrs Shumack Sec'ty
