Marion Iowa. Jan 15th 1920 Cary Club met at the home of Miss Alexander. Meeting called to order by the Pres Mrs Alexander. Eight members responded to roll call with quotations. Minutes of Dec 8th read and approved. Delegate to C.F. of W.C. reported the reelection of officers except corresponding secy. Mrs [Cross?] was elected to that office. The program was then given Mrs Pyle gave a very interesting number on "Anthracite production" Mrs Phelps being absent the secd number was omitted. Current Event followed. Club adj to meet in two weeks with Mrs Hanscom. After which the Hostess invited club to remain for a social hour & served refreshments. which was enjoyed by all present. Mrs M Voris an honorary member was a visitor. S. Brown Sec'y
