Marion, Iowa March 1st. 1920 Cary Club met at the home of Mrs. Cross. Club was called to order by Vice Pres Mrs Waffle Eleven members answered roll call by quotations. Minutes of previous meeting read & approved. Mrs Cross reported meeting of committee of "War Savings Organization". requesting each Pres of Clubs to appoint or ask for volunteer to write an article on "Thrift". The Club writing best article will be sent to "National Fed of Womens Clubs", where it will be read. After discussion it was moved and seconded to lay the subject on the table until next meeting. The Program being next in order. Mrs Pyle gave, "The Symbol of Service" Current events were given. no further business Club adjourned to meet with Mrs Pyle in two weeks. Susie Brown. Sec'y The Hostess. Kindly invited the Club to remain for a social hour & served delicious refreshments very much enjoyed by all. S W Sec'y
