93 Marion. Iowa Sept. 18, 1922 The Cary Club held the first meeting of the club year with Mrs. McKean at her home on twelfth street. Meeting called to order by he Pres. Mrs. Wilson Minutes of June 5, 1922 was read and approved as read. Sec. gave a report of Federation of May 22nd. Roll call answered to by quotation Tres. gave her report. Program com. gave report. Programs com- pleated an distributed at a cost of $7.40. Moved and carried the bill for printing of program be allowed and an order drawn on the treasury for the same. Moved and carried that Mrs. Winters be our press correspondent . Mrs. Winters spoke of gift (a Jerusalem Cherry plant) she was going to give to each club member. She brought three of the little plants giving one to each of the officers and will give to the rest at the next meeting. Program followed, "Pres Old an New," Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Shumack "What have you read this summer" was responded to by each club member. Miss Florence Maskell of Kolar South India, being our guest, was asked to tell
