The Eleventh Anniversary of victory day was celebrated at the house of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lincoln Tuesday July 20. Rev. H. J. Stewart had charge of the devotionals which were appropriate for the day. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. A bill for two and one half dollars for programs was allowed. It was moved and seconded that we send five dollars as ususal for legislative work.Mrs. [Fleener?] chairman of the membership drive reported four new members. Mrs. Elizabeth Lord was then presented with a life certificate by Mrs. Lincoln. Rev. T. J. Stewart gave a short address on Our Victory amendment. Miss Florence Cole sang "O Make Me Pure." Mrs. Lincoln then introduced Mr. A. B. Cadwell who gave an interesting address on the Outlook For The Future. At this time Mar Ethel White favored us with - with - a pinalogue "Legend of a [Uptight?] Bill," accompanied by Miss Helen Garrett. Mrs. Elizabeth Lord then sang an appropriate song Observance and Enforcement not Repeal. A social hour followed in which the hostess assisted by Mrs. Johnson and Mors.
