The regular monthly meetings of the W. C. T. U. met in the home of Mrs. P. A. Madill Tuesday May 19 at three o'clock. Meeting was opened by the reading of the minutes of the last meeting. A letter from the state president was read giving us the information that she could be with us July 20. It was then decided to have the County Convention July 20. Mrs. William Hamilton read a fine paper on law enforcement and not repeal. It was moved and seconded that she have this paper published in the near future. The sec'ty was asked to send a letter of sympathy to Mrs. Main. The misses Caroline and Louis [illegible] favored the audience with [three?] flute duets. Mrs. J. S. Stoaks then led the devotionals giving references from Paul's letters to the churches he organized - a very helpful lesson. This was followed by prayer. Meeting then closed with the W. C. T. U. benediction. Mrs. James McKee, sec'ty 1931 Program of the Women's Christian Temperance Union grinnell, Iowa Meetings Third Tuesday of Every Month "For God and Home and Every Land"
