62 1933 W.C.T.U. met with Mrs G. W. Mitchell March 21st. Mrs H. H. Fluner was in charge of devotionals. Song "The Lord is my Shephard" Prayers were offered by Mrs G W. Richards and Mrs Hess. Scripture was taken from I Kings 19th Chapter. It showed we have no need for discouragement. We are not alone. Rely on God. Right will prevail. Urged all to earnest prayer. Devotionals were closed with prayers from Mrs Stewart and Mrs Fluner. Secretary's report for February meeting read and approved. Miss Bailey reported window of Central Market had been secured for April 1st for bake sale. Paper on "Temperance and Missions" was read by Mrs Fowler. A letter urging a delegation to attend the Dry Convention at Des Moines March 27 and 28th was written by Ida B. Wise Smith and read by the Secretary. It was decided to send as large a delegation as possible. Market Day Committee-1st ward-Mrs Fluner 2nd ward-Mrs Watland 3rd " Mrs Hess 4th ward Mrs Mitchell and Mrs Hamilton treasurer reported $25 send for various purposes Balance of $7 in Treasury. it was decided to leave temperance posters still on display in windows until after the next meeting. Miss Bailey made several remarks concerning conditions in National & State governments. A motion made by Mrs J C. Lincoln seconded by Mrs Bump instructing secretary to send vote of thanks to Lloyd Thurston for his support of dry law. Mrs Bump expressed thanks for Borah & Shepard in Washington. A delightful program given by the children under direction of Mrs Mitchell. A word of thanks to the children was expressed by Mrs Robt. Lincoln. Meeting was adjourned by Benediction Mrs Geo Lincoln Sec.
