Annual Meeting.
W.C.T.U. met at the Congregational Church Tues. Aug 15. devotionals were in charge of Mrs Stoaks. Song "Lead On O King Eternal" scripture from Exodus Deut. Isaiah, Joshua It gave us the tho't to have good courage be not dismayed.   After reading the Scripture Mrs Stoaks offered prayer Song "Oh Master let me walk with Thee." Secretary's annual report read and approved.  Secretary's annual report read.  Mrs Hamilton gave S. T. I. report.  Our president suggested that Mrs Hamilton be given a vote of thanks for her work as president of S. S. I [?}] Dept.  Mrs Hamilton gave an itemized acc't of expense of S. T. I. Dept.  Moved & seconded that bill be allowed Motion carried.  Mrs German gave her Devotional Committee report. Mrs Hess reported 110 bouquets given and 250 calls made.  Mrs German made motion that bbl of fruit be sent to Benedict Home.  Seconded by Mrs Stoakes.  Motion carried.  Miss Park gave Publicity Com. report.  Miss Bailey gave report of Narcotic com.  Mrs Mitchell gave report of Music Com.  Report of Nominating Committee given.  Pres. Miss Carrie Butler  V.Pres. Mrs. W. J. Stewart  Sec. Mrs Geo Lincoln Treas. Mrs J C. Lincoln Moved and seconded adoption of election of officers. Motion carried.  Mrs Mitchell then read a letter from a missionary in S. Africa.  Meeting adjourned with benediction  Mrs Lincoln Sec.
