We sang the song "Carry On", which Mrs. Robert Lincoln spoke of as our Keynote song. Scripture lesson was from First Peter II., 11-17 and Romans 13:1-17 and 10:14. MInutes of the Dec. meeting were read and approved. Miss Bailey moved that we write a letter of sympathy to Mrs. Richards upon her accident. Carried. Mrs. Kearney moved that we read a tribute of love to Mrs. Effie Stocks. Carried. Mrs. Hamilton asked what we should do about money for prizes. Used to be $3.00 and $2.00 for boys; and $3.00 and $2.00 for girls. Mrs. Robert Lincoln asked what we should do about peace prizes. Used to be $3.00 and $2.00. Motion made by Mrs. Kearney, and carried, that these amounts be left to the discretion of Mrs. Hamilton and the teachers and Mrs. Lincoln and the teachers. Mrs. Lincoln asked what we should do about funds. Legislative fund usually $2.00. Frances E. Willard fund $2.00. Lillian Stevens fund $1.00. Motion made by Miss Bailey, and carried, that we send the five dollars same as before. Mrs. Lincoln says that since we started the Light Line all over the state, we have been taking up to $6.50 every January. This has had to be a voluntary offering, hertofore.
