Mrs. Gregson said there were 177000 saloons before prohibition, and now 430000, in the U.S. The Voice, a newspaper representing prohibition, pays $50.00 for 15 minutes time on the radio, at 5:30 every Sunday evening, over WHO at Des Moines. Business meeting adjourned. Program preceeding potluck consisted of readings and music: The Touch of the Masters Hand; by Mrs. Elizabeth Lord, The Irish Girl's Lament by Miss Alyce Pearce; vocal solos Sumbeam's Light and The Rainbow at Sunset by Marvene Pearce and Ethel May Pearce, accompanied on the piano by Miss Alycy Pearce. The potluck supper was greatly enjoyed by members, honorary members, and guests. The union enjoyed having with them. Mrs. George Mitchell's sister and niece from Oskaloosa. adj. Ada Park, secy.
