120 November 1935. When the W.C.T.U. met with Miss Sherman, the Executive Committee held a meeting previously to the regular meeting to decide upon directors of departments, and chose the following: 1. Director of Scientific Temperance Instuction, Mrs. Humphrey 2. International Relations, Mrs. Robt. Lincoln. 3. Flower Mission, Mrs. Hess 4. Publicity, Miss Park. 5. Benedict Home, Mrs. German. 6. Narcotics-Miss Bailey. 7. Literature, Mrs. Watland. 8. Evangelistic, Mrs. Stewart, the 1st vice pres 9. Music-Mrs. Mitchell. Fourteen members were present at the regular business meeting, at which Miss Butler, the president, presided. Song-"O, Christian Womanhood, Arise!" Devotions, Psalms 130, read by Mrs. German. Minutes of October meeting approved. Report of Executive com. read and adopted. Mrs. Gregson reported on getting Mrs. Pemberton to demonstrate the Syllabus at the Co. Convention at the high school. The teachers were deeply attentive and interested. She made several demonstrations. One lady, after the convention, said she would bring up the matter of effect on tissue, since hearing Mrs. Pemberton's demonstration. Mrs. Denham says she will send 109 copies of the syllabus, one to go into every rural school, if they will let her have the copies and wait awhile for their money. Mrs. Gregson has not had any answer yet. Scott County has syllabus in every county school in the county. The Pomeshieck[?] County W.C.T.U. has the receiptt for $48.25 which Mrs. Gregson took to the State Convention.
