124 February 1936. Nineteen were present at the meeting held Feb. 18 with Mrs. G. C. Murray. The president, Miss Butler, presided. The January minutes were read and approved. The president appointed as a program committee, Mrs. Hamilton, Mrs. George C. Lincoln, Mrs. John Evans, Mrs. C. S. George. Miss Butler read a letter from the state president about a membership campaign. The date of the National Convention was announced as June 12-18, 1936, at Tulsa, Oklah. Suggestions for membership campaign-hang a way[?] basket to each new member inviting her to come to a party. Invitations to be sent long in advance. A letter was read from Lucile Shadle, State Supt. of exhibits and fairs. Motion was made by Edna Sherman, seconded by Mrs. George, to appoint a committee to have an exhibit. Carried. Voted to send the usual fund of $5 00. Date for our annual food sale was set as April 18, at the Central West Market. Program at 3 P.M. Song, How Firm a Foundation, sung by all, with Mrs. Grace Peck at the piano. Hymn dedicated to Frances E. Willard, sung by Mrs. Margery Bouma, accompanied by Mrs. Grace Peck.
