June 1936 Twenty two were present at the meeting held June 16th with Mrs. Park, 10 members and 12 visitors. Mrs. Gregson read the devotionals from Hab. II. Set a Watch. Write a vision. Make it plain. Season of prayer. The program was in charge of Mrs. Hamilton, chairman of Scientific Temperance Instruction and the topic was Scientific Temperance Instruction Day. Mrs. Hamilton introduced Miss Louise Cox who presented ten girls who assisted her in a program of songs and readings. Mrs. Hamilton read a paper. The business meeting was conducted by the president, Miss Carrie Butler. The County Superintendent has put the syllabus in all the county schools. Mrs. Watland moved and Mrs. Gregson seconded that we publish the paper read by Mrs. Hamilton. Miss Bailey read an article in twice, which she had been asked to read to us. May minutes read and approved. Bill was allowed to Mrs. Hess for expenses for flower mission day, 30 cents for text cards, $1.00 for ribbon, 5 cents for twine, 40 cents for expense, total $1.75.
