147 April 1937 Mrs. Fleener said she had been acquainted for 55 years, that Miss Bailey had been her teacher in the Houghton School, Number 3. Miss Bailey once combed the hair of Mrs. Fleener's sister Mrs Schooley. She loved children, never punished. Never played with them. Just kind. Always had a sweet smile. She walked to Jud Gilbert's funeral. She brought Mrs. Fleener literature on Rochester. She paid subscriptions to the Union Signal to the poor. Mrs. Hess said Miss Bailey had hoped that a locust tree would be planted. Mrs. Lincoln was appointed to see about having trees set out in the Park that Miss Bailey gave the city. adj: Ada Park-Secy. 2 newspaper clippings across the top of the page and covering half of the page
