158 Dec. 1938. images-5 newspaper clippings covering left side of page and the center of page to bottom of page. The WCTU met Dec. 17, 1938 with Mrs. Mitchell. The Nov. minutes were approved. collection 87c. It was the sentiment of the meeting that the Executive Com. provide programs. Last year Bertha Pearson typed the programs for ($2 50) two dollars and a half. The com. sent to Headquarters for an outline and also used the temperance magazines. Mrs. Conard said, "Perhaps fear is as unchristian [un is underlined} as hatred." Perhaps fear is as evil as hatred. This was a very pleasant Christmastime gathering. Ada Park-Secy.
