Oct. 1940. The Oct. meeting was held with Rev. and Mrs. Lincoln. Sept. min. approved. Nellie Lincoln are wanted and will come soon. Edna Sherman read names of recently deceased members. Adj. Ada Park - Sec. Nov. 1940. The Nov. mtg. was with our new member Mrs. J.W. Barnum. Mrs. Owen Glassburn read from a newspaper about Rev. Gallagler. Edna Sherman talked about petition to the city council. Oct. min. app. Bills allowed for flowers for the funerals for Mr. William Hamilton and Mrs. Mary Furbur. Mrs. Evans gave us 50 cents for [illegible] on the barrell. Mrs. Mitchell gave the sec. 2 sympathy cards to use in case of need. Voted to give Edna Sherman $1.50 for postage. Ada P. Sec. Dec. 1940 The Dec. Mtg. was with Mrs. Mitchell. Allowed bill at Boders for flowers for funeral for Mrs. Alex Auder. There was no bill for funeral for Mrs. Blakely, as friends contributed flowers. Miss Sherman reparts that Union signal for Library is paid till Oct. 1 - 1941. Voted to offer prizes on peace + temperance.
