181 May 1941. June 1941 The W.C.T.U. met May 20 with Mrs. O. W. Park. Mrs. Mitchell presided. Ada Park read devotions. We voted that when the secretary puts the notice for the June meeting in the paper, notice should be given to bring penny boxes to the June meetings, the money to take the place of bakesale profits. Voted that at the July meeting we bring a voluntary offering of money for Benedict House instead of sending a barrel. Minutes of April meeting app. Tea was served. Adj. Ada Par, Sec. June 17, 1941, the W.C.T.U. met in the "Lecture Room" of the Congregational Church. Mrs. Mitchell presided and gave the lesson, and played the piano. Devotions by Ada Park. Mrs. Hess told that because a heavy rain had spoiled all garden flowers, we did not have Flower Mission. We voted that all bouqets taken individually until the August meeting should be counted in Mrs. Hess' report. Mite boxes brought in $18.00. Minutes of May meeting approved. Ada Park.
