1942 Feb. 1942 March 1942 Met with Mrs. L. May Fleener at 525 Broad Street. As the pres. was out of town and the vice pres. was attending a funeral, the secy. opened the meeting and presented the lesson, Tobacco. Mrs. Germann led devotionals. As we sang What A Friend We Have, with Mrs. Donald Schooley playing the organ, a canary sang sweetly. A check for $2.00 from Mrs. Rose Buchanan, as her dues for 1941 and 1942, was presented. When Nellie Lincoln came, she took charge of this check to take to Mrs. C. D. Loose. The secretary read a card from the Dern family that was sent us because we had sent them a condolence card. Secretary said we had sent a card of congratulations to Rev. & Mrs. Robert Lincoln their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Minutes of January meeting were read and approved. Mrs. Fleener served ice cream and cake to welcome the new members. Ada Park - secretary. [Newspaper clipping on page - W. C. T. U. TO MEET The W. C. T.
