292 1950 Sept 8 Special Meeting Sept 8 The WCTU of the executive Committee a special called meeting was held Friday Sept 8 - 1950, at Mrs McBlains home. The meeting was opened with prayer by Mrs Rengrow [Drospete?] for the Presidency, was discused Mrs McBlain read a letter which she had written to prospectives WCTU and Iota Sigma ladies and need for such an organization. It was suggested that an invitation to the next meeting be included. It was moved and seconded that we accept the letter and send to each prospect. Purchasing a drinking fountain for the City in memory of Miss Ada Park was discussed. Suggestions for working some of the departments was read, by Mrs McBlain. By Mrs H Skiles. Sec Protem
