Halverson said Wednesday. His estimate is based on costs of police, courts, jails and loss of income to the victim and his family. California, second in the nation in alcohol consumption, has 4,800,000 drinkers in a population of 7,250,000 persons 21 years old or over. Mrs Stanley finished reading the study book The effects of Alcoholism In France Russia and other Foreign Countries. Mrs McBlain reported the Memorial Drinking fountain for Ada Parks had arrived and would be installed at the library soon. This meeting being the closing meeting of the year election of officers was in order. All the old officers were re-elected Mrs Fay Stanley President Mrs McBlain Vice President Eva M Pepoon Secretary Nellie Lincoln Treasurer Meeting closed with the Benediction Eva Pepoon Secretary
