1957 May 21 The W.C.T.U. Monthly Meeting was held at the home of Nellie Lincoln with a large attendance, of members and guests. Mrs. Whitely lead the Devotions - Scripture from Prov. 1c-8-9-23 & 22. Worship Theme was "Mother Love." and lesson closed by prayer. Dedication of children, the White Ribbon Recruits followed. A brief business meeting was held by Mrs Mikle 1st Report from Mrs St Clair in regard to Temperate Pictures - 2d decided that a silent auction be held next meeting. A sympathy card (signed by those present) was to be sent to Rev. Beattie whose wife had passed on and a memorial of $5.00 as a memorial gift to be presented by Miss Keister - W.C.T.U lost a loyal member by death. Mrs. Casand then in charge of program presented her husband whose address appears above. In the future a report of all our W.C.TU meetings to be published in Grinnell Paper - Grace L. Foster Sec [clipping] Rev. Cosand Talks At WCTU Meeting Miss Nellie Lincoln was hostess to members of W.C.T.U. Tuesday pm. Devotions at the meeting were given by Mrs. Charles O. Whitely. Dedication services for the "White Ribbon Recruits," was in charge of the president, Mrs. Harvey Mikel. Candidates for the white ribbons
