354 Rachel Mikel, Mrs Allen, Mrs Epler, Edna Hotchkin, Mrs Ed Bohstedt Sr, Mabel Morgan and Nellie Lincoln The Pres named Eloise Kiester chairman of the nominating com to bring names for officers for next year Mrs Headland asked that committee meet July 5, at the home of Mrs Claude Thompson. Beulah Ratclidde reviewed chap from the Study Book Edna Hatchkins had the lesson on Skyways to abstinence. Also what we can do for our veterans Mrs McBlain close the meeting with prayer. Nellie Lincoln acting secy. The W.C.T.U. met July 19, at the home of Nellie Lincoln. There were 12 members and 4 guests present Following the giving of the pledges Mrs Howard Sage had charge of Devotions. Psalms 33-12- Timothy 1-1-2 John 8-28-32; and a meditation from the Union Signal meetings of last meeting were ready and approved, also Treasurer report. after a discussion on ways of raising money the motion was made, seconded and carried we hold a Silent Auction at our next meeting. Mrs Sage and Eloise Kiester were appointed as a committee to care for the auction. Eloise Kiester reported for the nominating committee they had been unsuccessful in finding new officers for next year. The Suggestion made Eloise Kiester be Pres, Marie Thompson Vise Pres, and Nellie Lincoln Treas. The matter of the Secy to be decided late. Motion to this effect was made, seconded and carried. The meeting voted to order the program books for next year, so we might have them for our next meeting. Eloise called a meeting of the Executive Com for Aug 9. motion made, seconded and carried the Union Signal be ordered for the Pres, and the Union Signal and Young Crusader for the Library, and the Union Signal for the Community Hospital. Mrs Headland set Aug 1, as the date for holding the next meeting of her committee on Temp Education in the S.S. meeting to be with Marie Thompson. Edythe Lynch gave a review from the Study Book, and Rachel Mikel had the program. She gave an article on Juvenile Delinquency by J. Edgar Hoover, an article on Serving of Alcohol on Plane by Mrs Hays, and an article on smoking meeting closed with the benediction, followed by a Pot Luck supper. Nellie L. Acting Secy
