The Womens' Christian Temperance Union met Feb 21 with Mrs Rayford Ratcliff with 13 members and one guest present. Following the Pledge to the Flags Mrs Eva Gregson had charge of Devotions -Topic Belief in the church that Serves. Scripture Matt 16 - 13-19 Eloise Kiester led in prayer. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved. It was decided due to the lack of time the Poster Contest not be taken up this year. The Pres read a letter from the Malcom Union regarding an Institute to be held at the Presbyterian Church in Malcom Mar 14 with a Pot Luck dinner at noon and requesting our Union put on a 15 minute play. Lela Adams was appointed to have charge of the play. Next meeting to be the evening of Mar 21 with the Honorary Members in charge. Lela Adams and Marie Thompson were appointed to have charge of the refreshments at that meeting, the meeting to be with Lela Adams. Some calls on shut-ins were reported. Current Events given. Lela Adams was program chairman. As this is Frances Willard months gave "An impression of Frances Willard from the Union Signal. Mrs Allen closed the meeting with prayer Nellie Lincoln Acting Secy Col 3.05 No meeting held in March On the evening of April 18, six WCTU members and two Honorary members met with Lela Adams.
