Mrs. Roberts our state pres. has been sending out materials to libaries and school superintendents about the evils of alcohol and tobacco. Eloise's report was "Why Has Alcohol Increased?" No. 1 - wide advertising 2 - Try to tell us boot legging is from 18 amendment, 3 - Two World Wars, 4 - Movies, and 5 - Brewers have people taste beer. Dr. Ivy says that we should have alcohol educ in schools and churches Nellie and Hazel Lincoln gave us the fine idea about how to write to the Space Administration in Houston, Texas that we are in favor of the astronauts reading the Bible while on the moon. We had our Friendship Circle and the closing prayer by Mildred Harris Secretary - Carol Sammon April 22, 1970 - I received a card from Mrs Fae Allen our former secretary, who has moved to 905 Clinton - Charles City, Iowa
