Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. No new business or old. Since last Dec. we have made 106 calls and sent 50 cards + letters. We still have 16 members. When the children go to school some of the mothers drink so much that they can't get the children in the evening. Mildred Jones knows of a boy named Jerry who lived in the Anna Wittenmeyer home. He said the teachers were like a mother to him instead an alcoholic mother. Minutes were read and approved. Nellie Lincoln gave our yearly report, Balance Sept. 1, 1973 was $49.27. Balance now is $61.67. She send $2.00 to the W.C.T.U. headquarters in Des Moines in memory of Mrs. Alexander. Motion was made by Lela and
