seconded by Fedilia that we send for a program packet and 12 calendars. Motion carried. Carol Sammon gave $1.00 for her mother, Mrs. Myrtle Bailey who had her 91 birthday, Aug. 19, 1974 in the Iown Univ. Hosp. Cedilla made the motion that we have our four meetings again this year 1974-75. Seconded by Eva Pepoon and motion carried. We voted to give $5.00 thank offering at the state convention in memory of Mrs. Alexander. Our meeting closed with the Lord's Prayer. We had our indoor picnic with our hostess Eloise Keister at 4:45 pm. April 15, 1975 Eloise Keister our president and hostess opened our W.C.T.U. meeting by leading in the American, Christian, and lastly the Temperance Salutes. Nellie started her devotions with the song "I would be True" followed by Scripture from II Peter. God has given his patience, brotherly love and knowledge. I'm not what I ought to be but thankful I'm not what I used to be. She also read something from I John. Eloise game the lesson about "Hidden Women". Mrs. Benson drank liquor from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. 30% to 50% of the alcoholics are women. A doctor at the Univ. of Wash. studied eight mothers who drank and had babies. Nearly every baby had malfunctions in arms, legs, heart or brain. Some women don't know what to do after the husband goes to work or the children go to school. We listened to the record "Take it to the Lord in Prayer" by James Ne? Minutes were read and approved. Nellie Lincoln the treasurer read the names of our members. Nellie reported in bank $46.87 plus birthday money and dues on hand totaling $54.52 plus 5.00 which Mrs Mildred Harris gave for herself and Mr. Motion was made and seconded that we give $2.00 to Lillian Stevens fund, and
