enforced, owing to the indifference show by the people this curse is spreading all over our land among both sexes including young girls. What must we do to help eliminate this awful evil.

Mrs. Kirk brought up the subject of federation with the city clubs. She left the subject for consideration but it was afterwards moved and seconded that we unite, owing to most of the members [living?] to it being to the best interest of the Union, consequently the majority present did not vote at all. Some favored the proposition making a majority of those who did voted [sic]. Our president suggested that if the question was reconsidered it must be done in April meeting.

The subject of resolutions was discussed after which the lesson changing the thought of a [nation?] Sowing the seed knee deep was introduced by Mrs. George who was assisted by Mrs. Wassar who gave a very interesting discourse on the appeal.

There were in attendance thirteen.

This session was adjourned by the repeating of the Mispah.
