Independence Ia Dec 28.85 My dearest Cousin: I dont believe I will be able to keep this up this writing you every day or not at least not for the present but I recd your letter this morning so thought I would complete the letter of yesterday. I guess that this one and that one together will count for one good letter wont it? and will deserve the big letter in reply that you have promised me to make up for the short one just I forgot to wish you all a Happy new year dont forget to write 1886 on your next letter I dont think I will write again till I hear from you. So write Sunday We are having warm weather no snow and warm enough for April Well good by again cousin I send you a little boquett
