of times I have cryed over that letter, you would think I was a baby, one night I cryed for two houres after I went to bed. Hattie tryed to comfort me by saying that it would be all right when I heard from you next time, but it did not do any good, and she scolded me a little, said I could not act worse if you were dead, but she dont know. Dearest, we must be very care-ful not to hurt each others feelings when we write. It was bad enough when we were together, and had any missunderstanding, and could make up in an hour or day, but now when it has got to be a week at least, we must be doubely careful. I dont see how I am going to wait the four days more, before I hear from you, but I suppose I must. I wish you had not waited till Sunday to write.
