Art 9 The offices of the Club shall be elected by ballot on the first Saturdays of July and January. The Constitution was then adopted by a viva voce vote & the Secretary in-structed to spread the same on the Records. The following By Laws were then submitted for consideration & were adopted. By Laws. 1. It shall be the duty of the President to preside at all meetings, & to deliver a quarterly address on the subject of temperance. 2. It shall be the duty of the Vice President to fulfill the duties of the President in his absence. 3. It shall be the duty of the Secretary to keep a correct record of the meetings of the Club & report the same at each quarterly meeting; to collect & pay the dues to the Treasurer. 4.
