56 Denison Iowa March 8th 1879 The Denison Total Abstinence Union met pursuant to adjournment. Capt Wm Familton in the chair Meeting opened by singing and Prayer Minutes of the last meeting read and approved Chair called for a report from the committee on programe Mr H C Lamb stated what he had been unable to see the balance of the committee and was therefore unable to report at this meeting Addresses by L. M. Shaer & Albert Palmer Select Reading by Mrs Lizzie Weldon George Barker. Reported new names to our pledge Quarterly Dues were paid by The following persons Mr & Mrs Wm Familton " " " L M Shaw " " " E S Plimpton
