The following programme was reported by the committee for next week: Lecture R Shaw Van Select Reading Mrs Phelps Recitation Carrie Plimpton Select Reading R.J. Lane Music Lillie + Alice Burlingame Chas R Meyers Sec. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Denison La. July 19, 1879 The Denison Total Abstinence Union met pursuant to adjournment. The meeting opened with music and prayer by Mr Lanb. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Mr. Shaw Van being absent, by request Mr Palmer made some interesting remarks. Mrs Phelps being absent Mrs Matthews read a sort selection in her stead. Miss Carrie Plimpton
