I mean those who have remained at home and never raised a finger in defence of our contrys rights but enough of this Our regt is certain to go north as a veteran regt and if they dont have a he old time at Keokuk it wont be their fault. they will go sometime between this and the first of June and report to the governer and he will give each man a furlough for thirty days. Quite likely they will be there two or three months and fill up the regt if it has to be done by draft Our company have 29 of those who have all ready served two years and 10 of the same stripe who have not then we have 6 whose two years will be
