and like our timber is hills and hollows, a hard country to fight over but unlike our country there is nice springs and plenty of water. Blackberries are getting ripe but I have something else to do besidses gathering berries. Butternuts are now ripe and that is the fruit we are now gathering. I want you to do the best you can with my money. I cant give you any instruction. I supose that I will have to stay here till the first of December as that was the date of the organiztion of our Co so you can act accordingly. I should have writin you before but I don't get much time to write to any body, so you need not wait for me, but drop me a line occasionaly, Tell me how the wood turned out and what you have done with it. How did Harrises wheat turn out. Who did you sell the horse to write soon and oblige yours truly Chas. Cady
