Blakesburg Iowa Dec. 28 1875 Mr. Geo. S. Finney your very kind letter of the 19th Inst came duly to hand yesterday. I began to think long of the time to hear from you again, so far as the matte of you Purpose in the future is concerned. I am glad to know that you have some fixed object in view, you have been gone three years next spring. L. C has been gone 10 years and no better now that the day he went away. Unless you so sompthing for yourself I have but Little hope of the rest, and sorry to think so. Well George I commenced writing this letter day before yesterday. I had to quit on account of the
