the [illegible] fence say about 40 sods, I have contracted for 100 posts @5 c each and three hundred rails, broad ones at 3$ per hand, he is to right up all the outside fence, you have not Idea how every thing is on the rise here- old John Abersnathy has traded for the place where you & me went to buy the calves of Morgan, I get old Johns Place from Dan Anderson for 500$ you may be sure it will be a relief when that Family gets away, old Mrs. Bearce died this week. I have just heard that Fritz bought out old John we get rice of him any how, all well except very Bad colds From your Father &c S. G. Finney
