Blakesburg Ia Aug 5 1880 Mr G S Finney Yours of the 26th ult. recd yesterday, I wrote you some time ago about the Condition of the crops &c the crop on your place is good, th corn, oats, wheat, and hay is all good, they put of three big stacks of timothy for your share [there?] besides there is a fine crop of apples in the orchard. I suppose I will have to sell it all off for what it will bring. Gim Dale the renter wants to know if he can have the place for next year, he wishes to know soon so as he can do some fall plowing. I told him I would write to you, and learn your Pleasure about it. I have
