It is so with us now when night comes we are in dread of what may happen us before an other day. I saw Chas Shoeck to day he got a letter from you, his Father wants him to go out early in the spring, I wrote you he was marrid to Miz Davis Chs Winn says he will go out the first of Feb. I want you to write often and let us know how you are doing I just got a letter from the girls and Sammie They were well. Emma writes Frank is at Glendale Deer-Lodge county, Montana. Eddy has gone way down in New Mexico, poor fellow he wont take the advice of friends and dont know how to manage for himself, but I must close for this time, from your Father &c S G Finney
