Blakesburg Ia Dec 15 1882 Mr George S Finney I wrote you a few days and suggested that I have a good Advertizment put in Courier, since than I met with a chance and sold to a man from Taylor County for the sum of two thousand dollars, he paid me down two hundred he pays the Bal. the first of March, at which time I am to make him a deed and give him possession and he agreed to pay the taxes for this year, except the Road tax which I had already paid, I done the very best that could be done, the
