Blakesburg Iowas 6-17-83 Mr Geo S Finney I Recd yours of the 12th written at Norfolk. I had recd one postal from you besides. I fealt anious all the while to hear how you are getting along Mr Hull recd a card from [Ras? Bas?] at Blair saying he had left you, and had gone to work there, did not assigne any Cause. - we are haveing terrible wet weather almost impossible to do any thing, at big expence all the time. - I wrote you a letter at Blair, I guess they will foward your letters. well every thing is on the moove here now, warrants have been [sued? sered?] out. Bill & Ples Anderson was arrested and put in jail at Ottoumwa, one week ago yesterday there
