Blakesburg Iowa Aug 7th 1883 Mr Geo S Finney your of the 29th ult. recd to day, Miles Hough got back last saturday, he seemd well pleased with his prospects on the Elk horn, he said your cattle were doing well. - Just recd a letter from Frank he go badley hurt by his horse falling on him, but is able now to hobble around, thinks he will do sompthing for himself now. dont see how you manage to get along by yourself with so much to do. I believe if you had Henry Weidman there
